The Pat Coyle Tribute Cycle
On the 1st of April marks a year since Pat's passing. To honour Pat's memory, Alan has devised one of Pat's old training routes for us to follow. It is an informal get together for family and friends to pay tribute to Pat in the best way possible, on two wheels. Although it is an informal gathering, there will be a charity box at the start and after the ride for people to make a contribution with all money going to the Kevin Bell foundation. All contributions are greatly appreciated.
Meet at the bounty in Athlone from 9:30am for some self serve tea/coffee
Ride starts at 10:00am sharp
The route is as follows:
Athlone (the Bounty) - Brideswell - Four Roads - Knockcroghery - Skrine - Athleague (Coffee Stop bring pocket money) - Four Roads - Curraghboy - Kiltoom - Athlone
This route is roughly 87K from start to finish. It is a self sustained ride so bring some money for the coffee stop. For those who would like a shorter option you can turn for home in Athleague.
Tea and coffee will be available at the bounty post ride.
